The Events So Far...
Adelaide was getting ready to return to a country she called home. At the same time her brother Santiago was hearing things that made him want to put a stop to those plans. Word had it that Blood were missing and that the new Queen of Raej was behind it. Knowing very well that she could not be stopped once she put her mind to it Santiago called in Desten Ashmore to escort Lady as her borrowed slave. The purpose being was Desten was going to find out what Santiago wanted to know. Lady at the same time was to help make the way easy for him. But what happens when Lady goes and does what no one would think she would do… buy a slave?
What's Needed To Keep Going...
Lady will enter the Courts so that Desten can get inside so that he can spy around to get the info that Santiago wants before leaving Lady in Raej. People that will either help or slow them down, but not stop them.

Santiago invites both Lady and Desten to his house for an business deal. There he tells them that under the cover of being her slave escort he wants Desten to find out what the truth is. Lady is to help him but going to make her way into the Court. From the very beginning Desten doesn’t want to do this though it is clear he wasn’t ready to walk away. Neither Desten nor Lady hit it off with each other, but do agree to work together after Santiago lies to Desten about Laetitia’s say in the matter.

Lady has only been in Raej for a few days now when she suddenly gets the idea that she wants to know what it’s like to own a slave. Convincing herself that it would look better with two instead of one she runs off without Desten to the slave market. It is there that she meets the Mistress herself, Siaralinde, who was checking out a slave by the name of Raphael Torres. Raphael has been in the pens for a month and is more than ready to leave so when Lady comes up he afraid to hope it’s a dream come true. It was apparent that Siaralinda had plans for him and might not let him go, but Lady dug in her heel. After, perhaps, an unusual trade (her first female kiss at that) Lady buy’s Raphael and makes a few (future) problems for herself.
