01: This board is RATED R, with possibilities of NC-17, so long as appropriately marked. R rated topics will be discussed, this includes but not limited to sex, drug-use, profane language, murder, and rape. A good note to follow: IF YOU ARE TO YOUNG FOR THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOKS, YOU ARE TOO YOUNG FOR THIS SITE.

02: Please understand that the canon characters never existed in our game. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE REFERENCES TO THEM.

03: Darkest Web is an account per character board. That means that you need an separate account for each character that you wish to play.

04: The Darkest Web staff believes in the three strikes you're out concept. Sure it takes awhile to get used to a new forum, and therefore staff will give you three chances to correct the action before we take additional steps. While banning is something we never ever want to do, we won't hesitate to do it, if we feel it is necessary. Once a member is banned, no matter the reason, there is no coming back. First Word in our secret saying is "Hell has". Please do not beg our admins to come back once you have been banned.

05: Before you can make a character you need to make an OOC Player account. This account will only be used in any OOC discussions and on the OOC boards. This is to help simplify discussions and to understand who people are taking to without having to remember who is play what character. You must in the OOC post to the Player Registration before you make a character.

06: Your OOC account should be a registered with a normal name. (I.E. Meg, Melissa, Jon. Not names like Superkiller, IAmBad, or anything like this. Accounts like this will be deleted.



01: For each new character, you register as your character's name, first and last name using proper capitalization.

02: When posting your application please title it the first and last name . Also please don’t post anywhere until your application is accepted.

03: Here you may choose your birthright up to Rose or you may request that it be rolled to have a chance at a darker jewel. Second Secret word is "No". The roll for your Birthright will go from White to Green, and each jewel will have a different percent value. You may also ask for your Offering Roll at this point, too. 04: On Darkest Web, you get (1) Dark Jewel character. The roll for your Birthright will go from Purple Dusk to Red, and each jewel will have a different percent value. Please choose carefully which character you wish to use this on as it will be very hard to get another dark roll.

05: Do NOT use an npc with a decent jewel darker than an Opal in your character’s background unless you have permission first. Characters will not be approved on this point alone.

06: Please keep your character ages realistic with what you want to do with them. There will be no 18 year old Eyriens with their offerings or with a woman's body. There is a post with a timeline and a ratio for year’s verses age found here. This also applies to those characters that are of mixed blood.

07: Duel Caste Females have been caped. We are not preventing anyone from having multiples of this type of characters, but we ask that you play fair in the sandbox.

08: Double Caste Males/Triple Caste Females are EXTREMELY RARE, please understand that this means that this Castes will have a limited availability to the players and will only be available by admin discretion or rewards given by the admin. Please do not ask for them. Third Word is "Wrath". We have also decided that double caste males and triple caste females will only be given out to members a month after joining and to those who are active.



01: All posts must be in past tense form. Please use proper English, with proper punctuations and spellings. If possible, do a word-check. We know that not everyone has English as their first language, but even so, please make an effort to write well.

02: We are an intermediate to advance rp site. As such, we would like others who are of that same strength to join. Poor spelling and grammar skills are not accepted here (especially considering that most browsers have a built in spell checker option). PROOF your posts in word or another word processing program before you post.

03: If you are not up to the standards of this board, and we approve you, we are doing so because we see potential in you. However, if you don’t improve your skills, we have the right to unapproved your character. Fourth word is "like".

04: You can't post an OOC post only in the IG posting areas. It has to have some in character text. Don't double post if you want to have your character leave and no one has posted after you. Use the edit button. That's what it is there for. Please don’t god-mod, you will be warned if you are caught doing that. Please stay in character all the time in a post. This means please stick with the personality that you have set up for your character.

05: Absolutely no spam. It will be deleted and you will be asked to discontinue it or face the consequences. Those who are caught spamming your post count will be set back to zero, no questions asked.

06: You can be in as many threads as you like as long as you can keep up with them. If you want someone specific to reply to your thread tag it with that character's name. If you don't care who replies you can put open or leave the description field blank.

07: If two characters are going to get into a fight please don't have it drag on and on. Keep it simple and realistic.

08: Please be realistic. A White-Jeweled witch should not be able to cremate a Yellow-Jeweled man with one blast. A Rose-Jeweled Warlord should not be able to flatten an entire village in two seconds... That's just too unrealistic.

09: Things like sex, drugs, violence, etc may be found in some our threads. These threads shall be marked appropriately, -to be discussed in a separate post- so that other people know what kind of action is occurring in the thread. If you cannot handle adult content then I would suggest you look elsewhere. Fifth word is "a". This board is open to all those over 18.



01: As a roleplay board, our success is solely based on the activity of our members. If you are not active, then our board will fail. And we do not want to see that. We are not going to say you have to come and post every day - although that would be totally awesome!- we simply are asking that you come and check in regularly. If you know you are going to be away from some time, then please make a note in the appropriate Absentee board to let the staff and other players know that you will be gone. 6th word is "Queen's".

02: All Characters must have at least one post a month to avoid being placed in the Inactive Group.

03: All Rulers MUST post once a week to avoid losing your territory. Also, if a Ruler becomes inactive for one (1) month without informing an admin of your leaving or vacation, your character is subject to the admin team. There will be no 30 day warning for rulers. This means the follow things can and will happen.

• Your character will be killed off by something or someone.
• Your character will be broken and therefore not able to rule anymore.
• Your character will be subject to being made a NPC and subject to adoption by another player.
• Your character will lose the territory by some coupe of power. They will not be able to win it back.

01: Avatars can't exceed 160px wide and 260 px high.

02: Signatures and banners can't be any bigger than 500px wide and 300px high.

03: No nudity or sexual content allowed.



01: No bashing members! It is okay to criticize a character but bashing the person who plays the character is not allowed. If we see you do it, you will get a warning first, next offense you will be banned.

02: No begging or spamming other players for posts. This is the only thing that doesn’t follow the Three Strikes You’re Out Rule. You will get one warning and then you will be banned.

03: Our chatbox is for OOC chatting ONLY. Do not spam our c-box with forum advertisements as we have an advertising section for such advertisements. If you are a guest and have a legitimate question, then by all means, ask! Do not use a false name and start drama on our C-box. All posts can and will be monitored so if you do cause trouble, we will find out and you will be permanently banned. Last word is 'scorn". Also, the C-Box should be kept PG 13.
